• Our little town on the prairie is swearing in two new commisioners and a new mayor today. The two new commissioners are women; the mayor is male. They join two current members--one female and one male. This may not seem like anything unusual for those of you in big cities but this is the first time in the 100 year history of our town that we have had a female majority on our decision-making body. Yee-haw!
